THE MEANING OF 靜心 (JÌNG XĪN) — A STILL MIND
靜心 means to still the mind. The first character, 靜, is stillness; the second, 心, is the heart, which in Chinese is also where the mind lives. Together they describe the act of settling yourself on purpose, the way a glass of muddy water clears when you stop stirring it.
It is not about escaping the noise. It is the reminder that you do not have to answer every demand the moment it appears. With work, family, and phones all asking for attention at once, 靜心 is permission to step back and return to your own pace.
