There's an old Chinese saying: plow in spring, tend in summer, gather in fall, store in winter (春耕、夏耘、秋收、冬藏). Every season has its job, and autumn's is to gather in (收). It's the season the whole year has been working toward, when a year of effort finally becomes something you can hold.

The trees turn red, the tables fill up, and the days get shorter and ask you to slow down. To look at what's already here, and to bring together the people you want to share it with.
