Chinese calligraphy art print. Harvest (豐收, Fēng shōu) in Clerical Script (隸書) calligraphy from Chang Le Studio in Taipei, the original hand-brushed by my father, who founded the studio in 1996. A meaningful gift or wall art.
THE MEANING OF 豐收 (FĒNG SHŌU) — HARVEST AND A YEAR'S WORK
豐收 means harvest, a season of plenty. It's the feeling of a year's work finally becoming something you can hold, when fields turn and people gather at home to take stock of what they've grown.
As autumn settles in and the light turns warmer, homes start filling with the small rituals of the season. 豐收 brings that same feeling of abundance and homecoming onto the wall, a quiet nod to the harvest all around you.
THE SCRIPT — CLERICAL (隸書)
Flatter and wider than Seal Script, Clerical Script marks a shift toward legibility, developed for the practical demands of record-keeping in ancient China. Its structure feels grounded and steady.
